As a director of photography and cinematographer from Vorarlberg, Austria, I tell stories in images. For more than ten years I have been shooting commercials, corporate films, documentaries, music videos and feature films, from commercial shoots in Dornbirn and Vienna to filming in Africa.
With RED Film Studio you get everything from a single source: idea, concept, direction, camera, lighting and colour. I handle smaller projects personally. For larger productions I put together a well-practised team, and your contact person always stays the same.
I am responsible for the entire look of a film: composition, camera movement and light, always in service of the story.
From concept and staging to working with actors. Whether commercial, short film or documentary: every scene should have its intended impact.
ARRI Alexa 35, Sony FX3 and Blackmagic, plus cinema lenses, gimbal, slider and dolly for expressive images in any situation.
Light is the most important tool in film. With ARRI, Aputure, Creamsource and Nanlite I shape mood, spaces and faces.
In post-production every film gets its final look: colour correction, colour mood and a consistent image.
